Securing the original source for generations to come - SCROLL FOR THE LATEST

The American Book Rescue Project (ABRP) is an independent initiative dedicated to preserving physical books and safeguarding the historical, cultural, and literary records they represent.
As artificial intelligence and digital technologies continue to advance, we recognize the tremendous value of digitization in expanding access to knowledge. However, we also believe that technological progress should never come at the expense of the original materials from which that knowledge is derived.
Our mission is to advocate for the responsible preservation of physical books, particularly rare, antiquarian, out-of-print, signed, academic, historically significant, and potentially irreplaceable editions.
Through education, public awareness, and collaboration with booksellers, authors, libraries, collectors, and preservation organizations, we seek to encourage responsible digitization practices while protecting the authenticity and continued existence of original works.
We believe the preservation of knowledge requires more than saving its words. It requires protecting the physical record that gives those words their history, context, and authenticity.
Digitize the words. Preserve the book. Protect the record.

CONFIRMED - Hundreds of thousands of Korean-language books purchased from Korea by Anthropic.
